How It Is Assessed

Revision Tips

Read widely: stories, articles and passages. Regular reading is the single best way to grow vocabulary and sharpen comprehension.

Practise different writing formats, such as letters, reports and narratives, so that structure and layout come naturally under exam conditions.

Tighten your grammar through practice questions, focusing on tenses, agreement and punctuation, since accurate language is rewarded throughout.
