See skill trackingAI-powered support
An AI tutor that explains a question you are stuck on, in context, at the moment you are stuck on it.
Try it in practicePersonalized Practice Instead of Generic Study
Traditional SAT prep gives every student the same material in the same order. That is efficient to produce and inefficient to study, because two students with the same score often have completely different weaknesses.
Miyagi Labs uses your own performance data to decide what to show you: more time on the domains where you are losing points, less time re-proving skills you have already mastered. The practice gets harder as your accuracy goes up.
From First Diagnostic to Test Day
- 1
Take a diagnostic
Establish a starting score and a skill-level map of your strengths and weaknesses.
- 2
Set a target score
Use the middle 50 percent range of the schools on your list rather than a round number.
- 3
Build a study plan
Turn the gap and your test date into a weekly schedule you can actually follow.
- 4
Practice weak skills
Work filtered question sets in the domains the diagnostic flagged and read every explanation.
- 5
Take full tests
At checkpoints, measure timing and endurance across a complete exam.
- 6
Review and track
Study every miss, watch your skill accuracy move and adjust the plan when it stops moving.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best SAT prep app?
The one that changes what you practice tomorrow. Judge any SAT app on five things: whether it tells you your specific weak skills rather than just a score, whether it lets you practice those skills directly, whether the explanations teach the reasoning, whether it offers realistic full-length tests, and whether progress is visible over time. Those criteria matter more than the size of the question bank.
Is Miyagi Labs free?
There is a genuinely usable free tier: over 1,000 practice questions, one practice test a week, 25 AI tutor messages a week, limited Miyagi Classroom access and performance tracking. Premium adds unlimited practice questions from the full 10,000-plus bank, unlimited practice tests, unlimited vocabulary practice, full Classroom access, an unlimited AI tutor and a study plan that adapts as you improve.
Does Miyagi Labs include full SAT practice tests?
Yes. Full-length Digital SAT practice exams run with two Math modules and two Reading and Writing modules, with timing, scoring and a question-by-question review afterwards. Free accounts can take one practice test a week; Premium removes the limit.
Can an SAT prep app replace a tutor?
For many students, yes. Self-guided preparation works well when the student is reasonably motivated, has a clear picture of their weak skills and will actually review their mistakes. A tutor is usually worth it when a student is stuck at a plateau, needs accountability to study at all, or has a conceptual gap that explanations alone are not closing. Plenty of students use both.
Can I use Miyagi Labs on mobile?
Yes. Miyagi Labs runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet and computer, and there are native apps on the iOS App Store and Google Play. Your progress follows your account across all of them. Practice full-length tests on a laptop or tablet, since that is what test day looks like.
How much time should I spend in the app each day?
A focused 20 to 40 minutes on most days beats a single long weekend session. Spaced practice is what moves skills into long-term memory, and short daily sets are far easier to sustain across a two-month plan.
